A Nook for the TR

My wife got a Nook book reader from Barnes & Noble. Being an avid reader (to say the least) this new little book reader is great for her.

A couple of other great things about it is that is 3G connected, wi-fi enabled, and has a microSD card slot in the back. I know, too techno for some but I'm a geek OK?

A great advantage for me is that card slot. Since these new book readers are capable of displaying many different file formats which include pdf's (Adobe Acrobat), I have now loaded a 4GB micro SD card with all of my parts and service manuals as well as a bunch of other stuff. So instead of loading service manuals in the car, we now have everything with us on the Nook. OK, you're right ... as long as the Nook battery is charged and/or we have the 12V adapter handy.

Anyway, it's a neat way to keep to manuals portable. Not just TR manuals, But I have loaded nearly all manuals for all of our stuff.

Did I say that it can zoom and search too?
