Noticed today that I've hit 1000 miles since I got the car back in early July. Odometer now reads 51000 miles. The shop went through the speedo and had it rebuilt while they had the car, so this is the first time I've actually had it working in the 11-ish years since I bought the car. It's pretty accurate, too.

It's taken a bit of sorting, but she's running great now. Still have things to get to (tach is wildly optimistic, heater motor isn't working, etc) but nothing that stops the driving. Still have a few more months until winter, we'll keep adding on those miles.

Nice!

Feels good when things come together and plans work out, eh? Especially when you can *drive* it!

It's been so good to be able to drive this car again. I bought it (the second time) some 6 years ago, but haven't been able to drive it until now. Hopefully it should be solid for many years to come.
