A new project? Opinions?

He says the frame rails are solid and do not have any rust.

But the car is monocoque construction so you need to be much more concerned about the door sill area. Given the obvious rust around the rear wheel, I'd bet dollars to donuts that there are sill rust issues. Better that you spend the money that you'd be spending on rust repair on an airplane ticket to a sunnier clime (California?) to find a rust free car.

Believe it or not, I have that article printed off the website. I also purchased a book by Lindsay Porter (published by Haynes) on the purchase and restoration of Midgets and Sprites...perhaps it is with all that and the success of the Midget that we were "feeling our oats" and looking to take on a MAJOR project of some sort. We are still looking...Again...thanks for your help and input. I'll be sure to post as soon as I find something interesting
