Totally sexy machine.

Back in the day, when I had my Lotus Europa, I used
say only one thing in life was more pleasurable
than stomping on second gear coming out of a
really tight turn.............

Of course I was much younger back then.

But that beauty looks like a woodmaker to me! LOL

best wishes

Absolutely stunning! Now you will have that daunting task of which car do I drive today.

Thanks everyone! I'm really excited about it, and I got a pretty good deal on it!

The Elise is really a surrey -- the center section comes off and can be left open or replaced by a soft top. Of course, I've already taken the hard top off and stowed it! Thanks to global warming, it's supposed to be in the high 60s tomorrow, so I'm taking it to work! I hope Greenie won't be jealous.

Now all I have to do is unload the Z4. I'm also thinking of trading in the Jeep on a used Range Rover. Then I'll have fulfilled my dream of going *all* British. Tee hee! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

Hi Bill,

Congratulations! I too am jealous--you are really exploring the opposite ends of the British sports car spectrum. I've admired the Elyse at car shows and they look like they would be an awesome buzz. They have the power-to-weight ratio of a motorcycle, more or less.

I've got the TR250, I just need to reconfigure my priorities and get the Lotus, too.

I can get by with one kidney, right? I need to find a classified ad site where I can list internal organs.

If I give my right arm, how will I shift?

Regards,

That is too sweet! Congrats!

If I were single, I'd have one.

If you bought one, you'd probably be single again!

At our October show, an Elise pulled in and of course I had to go over and look. I knew it didn't belong to a club member.

As I was looking the owner said "Hey Glenn, What's up?"

It was a old college buddy of mine.

He's not doing archaeology anymore either. But I guess he fell into something a little more lucrative than I did...

Congrats, but be careful out there, he said its alot more car than he ever thought it was.

Congratulations!

Make sure you split your time between them both as you don't want Greenie to get jealous. If he's anything like my LBC's you wouldn't like him when he's jealous.

Have fun!

Matt

Not to be nosey, but you do do what for work??

Very nice. Must be something to get back into the 250 after a ride in that.

Just your run of the mill lawyer. In all honesty, I got the thing for a song -- less than your typical new Accord. I'm a little worried that I haven't sold the Z4 yet, but it was one of those situations where a few months of pain with two car payments will be worth it given what I'm paying for the Lotus.

Of course, I say that now. When I'm *living* in a tent strung between these English cars I'll be singing a different tune.

So, anybody want to buy my Z4? Please? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I've lived in a tent before (no, really, in a tent in the mountains in the winter for a few months) and it's not so bad... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good luck on the sale, and congrats on the purchase. One of my top new cars.

Now,,,, Just where in Md. do you think you'll drive that, at speed? Certainly not "Hickory Log Circle" in Columbia
That Green 250 would look lovely parked next to my Red IRS....

Bill
Congrats. I have a 05 Elise in storm titanium and a 73 TR6 in French blue. The Elise is an incredible performer but there is still nothing like the sound and feel of the TR.
