Darius Hashabi takes his mom for a few laps around Laguna Seca in a Corvette. Her expressions coming through the corkscrew are priceless.

Is he getting back at her for making him clean his plate as a kid....
Great ole gal.. at the end she wanted a beer...
of course her waited for him to take off his helmet so she could pop
him with the empty...

Great...I'm still laughing.
That's what I go through every time I take a certain person out in the Jag.
Hanging onto anything they can, grimacing, "don't pass him!", "slow down!".
Oh, Gawd....

Oh, it's too low to the gound.
Oh, you went around that corner too fast.
Oh, slow down.
Hang onto shoulder harness, I end up left arm holding her up on curves.

Don't pass that car! Why do you have to pass cars? (45 MPH speed limit, moron doing 23....)

First Wife would take my grandmother to her "hair appointment" in the MGB... always a white-knuckle ride for her. One trip the fuel pump started to fail. FW calmly reached behind the seat and whacked the bulkhead a few hits with a ball-pean (problem started the day before, I put the hammer in there in case it acted up again before I could replace the pump points).

Grandmother says: "When are you people going to get a real car?!?"

She'd have soiled herself with a ride around a course.

Is that what they call a primoridal scream?

classic... LoL

Classic! Remonds me of when I took my grandmother for a ride around a local track that is now closed in my TR6. Screamed a good bit but when we pulled back into the pits and she took off her helmet she was all smiles! She still talks about that ten years on now.

I'm sorry, but I have a problem with videos like that.
Drive aggresivlly,& try to scare a non-enthusiust -
I think that it's really sad that these are posted for others
to see.
I would NEVER take my Mother on a drive like that, because
I know that she wouldn't appreciate my driving talent.
I think that these videos are put up for entertainment by
the posters.

Was she out of her comfort zone, yes, but she looked like she had a good time overall. No different than going on a roller coaster really. I doubt there was any malicious motivation to either taking her for a drive on the track, or posting it.

Seriously Doug? Did you bother to watch the whole thing? That was not an unhappy lady. Far from it. That was a happy, smiling, laughing, full-of-life woman with her son. Time to lighten up, don't you think?

Yup. That's pretty obvious in the first two minutes of the video. She's screaming then laughing and grinning. Same at the end. I know people that are exactly the same way on amusement park rides. Moments of terror followed by laughing and grins, and at the end they want to buy their picture so they can brag to everyone about how much fun it is (after they get back in line to ride it again of course).
