This was a program I enjoyed watching in England back in the 1960s and 70s. I remember them demonstrating the idea of noise canceling. It was a large box of electronics and speakers. Seemed to work.

Seems very dated now.

David - I'd like to find one of those that actually works for "ambient" sounds: cars racing, loud mufflers, atv's, fireworks, tires screeching, etc.
