A/H 100/4 windshield frame

I'm not up on the 100/4's. Will a 100/6 windshield frame fit on 100/4? I know the 100/4 w/s fold down but could you put a 100/6 frame on a 100/4. I have someone with a 100/4 body but no w/s frame.

No, they are completely different.

Actually I am re-thinking this. Maybe it would fit. It would be completely different from the original but it might actually fit. I know that Martin Jansenn fitted a 100 windscreen to a 3000.

I am thinking of trying to fit the 100/6 frame to the 100/4 tub I have. Won't be original but better than no W/S at all. Won't get to it until Monday but will let all know.

You might get it to fit as a fixed screen. You won't be able to fold it down, which of course is one of the great attractions of the 100.

check ebay item 321108326523 ( ends 4-19-2013 ) , listed as windshield frame for a 100-4 . others with knowledge of a 100-4 windshield frame please view and state if it is correctly listed . hope this helps

I looked at the ebay item. All of the correct big pieces for a BN1 or 2 are there. There should be four right-angle connectors (plus four screws per) that hold the four frame pieces together. I can't see if they're present. Maybe ask the seller? They may be hard to find - I'm not sure.
