I had my A-frames/kingpins rebuilt this past year, and am just now getting to the assembly phase. After looking at some pictures in the Horler book and my Haynes manual, it seems that the caliper should be on the trailing edge of the assembly (towards the back of the car), with the holes for the sway bar at the front.
This is what I have:
It looks like the spindles were installed on the wrong A-frame? Or do I have my mind turned around (entirely possible, given my abilities...)
By the holes on the A-frame, this should be the left assembly. But the 2 bolt holes are for the caliper (correct?) seem to be on the wrong side.
