If y'all happen to be in a grocery store anytime soon, may I suggest Campbell's "Select" Italian Wedding Soup. It ain't what "Mama used to make" but with some freshly ground black pepper in it before ya heat it, it's a passable surrogate.
only problem with that its a typical Campbells soup can contains about 5 times the maximum recommended sodium allowance. It amuses me to see something called "Healthy Choice" soup which has about the same amount of sodium. God knows how they have the coconuts to call it "Healthy Choice". /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif
That is a "make time" exercise for some folk who CAN'T take the "additives" these guys throw in there. Those labels read like a cross between a chem lab and a pharmaceutical supply house!
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/iagree.gif I was amazed on reading the labels on some of those "Lite" products. Some are worse than the non"lite" stuff. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
A buddy of mine in England only drinks Budweiser (beer anyway, he still has some taste when it comes to single malt /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif). He claims to have a good reason though. His father is the head of quality control for AB North America, used to be head of QC for AB in Europe. So he says that he's keeping his pops informed on the European standard of quality.
At least he lets me bring real beer into the house whenever I visit. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Doc...sodium is your enemy. You might as well chug a shaker of salt when you eat that garbage in a can. Make Horsemits cook you homemade soup.
Bwahahahaha...I crack myself up. MAKE Horsemits. I dun thin nobody makes that woman do nuffin that warn't her idea.

...she had some ~coupons~ and decided to TRY it...
~I~ have th' Original Family Recipe for REAL Italian Wedding Soup... and (in case Ant'ny is readin') RAG SOUP too.
No worries: that stuff is passable in a 'pinch' but decidedly NOT a staple here at Chaos & Mayhem PTY., LTD.
Even ~poison~ is acceptable, in short doses. SEE: "Absynthe"./ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
~best "godfather" impersonation~ "She'll make you an offer you can't refuse" ~takes cottonballs out of mouth~
"NO SOUP FOR YOU!" hahahahahahahahahaha
(Psst.. Jaybird, I'm not sure who this "Doc E" guy is... I think we better get in touch with the authorities!!) hehe
Friday night...In a good mood /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif~takes another sip from the can~ Yuengling, Black and Tan!mmmmmmmmmm BBUUURRRPPP! scuzi. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
