We don't leave money in our church. Money gets walked down the street to 24-hour safe deposit box at a local bank soon after a service.
I've done it a number of times: it can be a bit nerve-racking but it's a short walk in a very public area.

He will face justice in the legal system, but I will just say a prayer for someone in a situation or with problems, social, financial or mental, enough to drive them to do something like that. It makes me count my blessings for all I have.
