TR6 a few questions; my new '72 tr6

Are those exhaust-headers standard equipment? Is the rocker switch under the wiper switch to the left of the stearing wheel for the hi-beam/lo beam? Does 'main bean' mean hi-bea? How do I reset the trip meter?

CGeorge,

Headers where not standard equipment. For a 1972, you should have a cast manifold that splits into two, then a true dual exhaust going into a single dual port muffler.

The low-beam/High beam switch should be on the floorboard on the left side of the clutch pedal.

The trip meter is reset by a small knob below the dash on the left side of the ignition switch. You can't see it unless you look up under the dash, but you should probably be able to feel it easily.

Hope this helps,

The rocker switch under the wiper switch is the windshield washer.

George- Get in contact with a local 6 owner to go over all the questions you have. There must be tons. There must be someone on this forum near you. How about stating where your from.
