Just saw one of those Mini pick-up over in Ft. Myers this past weekend! Too cool!!! Love the Loti, epecially the 7s!! Nice get-together! Love that "wooden Volvo" too!

Nice... Yup I remember April Sunday's spent at Ancaster at that meet... Good times! In the meantime I spent a cold, blustery day at our annual Spring Thaw car show (all makes), but a very small show this year and hardly worth my time to attend sigh... spring in Alberta sometimes /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

I see one Mini there that I recognize (blue one with the spoiler kit), how did people like your orange Mini? I'm not sure it's ever been officially shown in southern Ontario before this.
 
didn't have it out as there is still so much work to do on it. Just finished welding in a new parcel shelf and rear panel and have stripped the interior and haven't done the dash yet and a complete handbrake linkage to install yet. tranny and engine mounts need replaced. She has been hit in the rear at some time so the boot lid doesn't fit properly and the rear apron has a few large holes in it. Whoever replaced the boot lid didn't know the hinges are handed and had them on wrong with the result there is a huge amount of wear in them. I did get some new ones at Ancaster also seat belts and a new muffler and some small odds and ends. Hopefully start on it again tomorrow if the rain holds off
 
Thanks for posting those. I decided against going in order to get some work done on the TR6....Dying to get it looking good again. I recognise alot of those cas though. That Marcos lives around me somewhere.
