MGB A few MGB questions and a request

First off the car is a 1979 MGB(later style with rubber bumpers).
I need some tips for cleaning up and making the area under the hood look neater.

If you could post some pics that would be great.

Also is there anyway to reach the bottom bolt on the CLUTCH master cylinder, w/o removing the brake master cylinder and the big mounting bracket for the brake and clutch pedals?

Is there any substitute available for hood padding at say Lowes or home depot?

Thanks in advance,
Robert

Robert, you should be able to get a wrench on the bottom bolt by removing the brake switch(try to not move the adjusting nut when removing) I have included some before and after pictures as you requested. If you need more picts let me know and I will be glad to e-mail them to you as they do not reside on a server to post here. I used the fatmat hood liner under my hood, see the link below, they have good products at fair prices. Paul

I bought new padding same as the original on Ebay...they have it there often from a place called JagGraveYard.com (or something like that) from Lock Haven PA. I haven't put it in yet, but it looks just like the orginal...I think I paid less than $30 for it.

there are some nice ideas in the Members Rides section including one of mine where I just cleaned under hood and put a few coats of wax... not original but looks nice.
