I live in the Rio Grande Valley of south Texas, about 15 miles from the Mexican border, and 18 miles from South Padre Island and the Gulf of Mexico. Not too many old sports car or mechanics in the area, so I have to do most of my own work. As a result, I am constantly on the lookout for any Tips, Information, or constructive criticism that will help me keep my A-H BJ7 up and running. My first BMC was a 1957 MGA that I bought new. Wish that I still had it, as I really loved that car. The adventures that we shared can never be forgotten. The Healey was acquired several years ago, and is my old mans toy. I am looking forward to meeting new friends, sharing when I can, and listening when I should.

My mom lived in Weslaco for many years; sister was still there up until a few years ago. We all lived in Corpus in the early 60's and spent a good deal of time on Padre.

There's plenty of assistance and camaraderie here, especially in your case on the Healey side of the forum. Jump in and post away; don't forget to add pictures!

I wish that I still had my first TR2 but in reality in 1969 it was in need of a major restore. UK weather is not kind to cars.
