A major milestone today; of a kind.

Amos, formerly known as "The Crypt Car", clocked thru
1,300 miles without a breakdown. Cannot believe it !!

A tremendous achievement !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many new members during the past two years. For you
Newbies, The Crypt Car was a joint effort by many BCF
members to restore a dead, 1969 TR6 and save it from
the steel recycle yard. The Crypt Car averaged 7 miles
driven between breakdowns. Two years mostly on jackstands.
Might well be the very first internet restoration of an old car.

1,300 miles driven w/out a breakdown is a "rather !"
for the BCF !!

Awesome for me - the non-mechanic, 10 thumbs owner.

PS: Our beaches have been trashed by the huge winter storm.

Thanks, one and all !!
:thankyousign:

Congratulations. Not many would have had the perseverance to bring the beast to life.

I have a ways to go.

I agree Ray.

All the more reason to spend more time behind the wheel and less time cleaning rusty bolts that are going to get rusty again anyhow.

A fitting resurrection for a clasic, beautiful car.

They don't call 'em "Triumph" for nothing!

Good work, great attitude, Dale!

Dale;
As a member of the Amos restoration crew, may I be the first to say Happy Easter, go for a ride!

I think all the others here will agree, this milestone is a big deal to us as well!

Now clean those beaches for Tony and Mickey's arrival.

:savewave: :driving:
