A Beautiful Day for a Ride

It's absolutely wonderful here today. Sun, blue skies, white puffy clouds - and it's in the low 70's as well. Took the 6 out to stretch her legs. What a great ride. Thirty-five or so miles and I'm in 4th gear for around 90% of the time.

I'm very jealous. My 2 year TR3 restoration is near completion, but it won't be done till next spring. I guess I'll just have to wait till next spring to get my drive in. Enjoy the weather. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Same here...rain, rain and more rain....BUT I did sneak out into the garage to fiddle with my MGA(the neglected garage queen) for a bit

Yeah, beautiful weather here as well. 20 mph winds, drizzling rain, and 40 degrees. Fantastic.

Rain turned to high 50s and partly sunny... very high winds here in Maryland caused the high 50s to sometimes feel much much much colder. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I still took the 6 out for a 5 minute spin to show her off to two friends.

Cant help it... the car is just to fun to drive! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

It looks like another great day for driving the six. I hope all of you have the same.

Doug,

First I head east from Boulder out to US-287. Then south all the way to the Northwest Pkwy. Then I head west back to Boulder. The sights and scenery are totally awesome. Especially when coming back westbound with the snow-capped Rocky Mountains right there in front of you. All in all it's about a 30 - 35 mile ride.
