948cc orange engines

Okay. The proper color for a 948cc BE engine is Morris green. No arguement here about that. Yet I see lots of photos of 948cc engines that are redish orange. What's up with that? Was that a color for a replacement engine?
 
Chevrolet Orange...Good for 15 hp.....lol..jk...
 
Some folks just like orange I suspose.
 
The replacement engines, i.e., Gold Seal, were painted gold. Red engines are DPO work.
