Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit the September 11 Memorial and Museum. If you are ever in New York you should make it priority.
The area surrounding the Memorial is still much a work in progress but once inside it very quiet. The exhibit takes you 70 feet below ground to the first footings of the towers. With overlooks and displays along the route.
Inside the Memorial is the Museum. It's an area where no pictures were allowed. Filled with artifacts from the event, the towers and from those who lost there lives.
Don't let a opportunity to see it go by.
