Just picked up an 81 Alfa Spyder. Nice paint and carpet. Picking up seats and injectors tomorrow.
The guy I bought it from is moving to Europe and is unloading his stuff. He has some Austin Healey 3000 fenders, bolt on wire wheels, a Jamacian(car), Benelli (spelling?), 72 Stag(wants $800 and needs work, and other stuff in his shed.Just thought I'd share the info.
See Alpha attachment
Rick
Just checked the pic and it doesn't have what appears to be a bunch of divots on the pass. side door.

Seems like Alfa fever is spreading around these days /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Yea, but He's got a matched set!. hehehee
Boy if I was in FL I'd be over there lookin at the Stag. I'd love to have one-o-those.
Very nice Alfa! I like those too.

Is the Jamacian for sale?

Tell me about the Stag....

Too bad it's in Florida...Someone posted pics of their Jamacian in the MG forum a few months ago, since then I've wanted one.

Sweet! Duettos are the nicest of the top-down Alfas IMO. The description of the car says carbs were fitted but the engine photos seem to show the SPICA rig in place.

Rick: Glad you found seats! I found only one and it ain't in very good shape... the car looks stunning, BTW.

Still waiting on pics of the Jamacian. He also has a Banardi(spelling?) I was pleasantly surprised when I received the seats. They are Alfa seats but no headrests. The seat rails are rust free and slide easily and the seat bottom only has a small amount of surface rust.Looks like they've never been sat in. See attachment.
Got her to idle yesterday but may be having a problem with firing sequence and fuel return lines. Repair manuel on the way today.
Rick

"Firing sequence"??? You mean the injectors? That would be a new one on me.

Yep... Most fuel injectors go at the same time.

Not with SPICA injection... it's TIMED from the crank pulley. But I thought this one was EFI.
