1979 Mg Midget 1500 - $1200

From one of his emails to me:

"The car has no rust and very minimal dings. the brakes are brand new and so is the clutch.
the slave cylinder for the clutch is shot but the master cylinder is new.
the car itself has 111,000 miles on it but the motor is rebuilt with about 11k.
ignition needs to be wired at the switch. original key was lost.
same piston size not bored out. but it has all new bearings, pistons and rings, freeze plugs, valves, lifters, etc. It has an upgraded rv cam and a dual barrel webber carb.
intake and header system with new exhaust all the way back. upgraded to an electric fan for cooling.
the top is in decent shape except for the fact one of the seams came undone in the left back corner. but it is not torn. just needs new stitching.
i have a list of all parts that were put in the vehicle. i have most of the original parts as well that will go along with it.
i have a set of aluminum wheels for it as well.
The transmission needs to be rebuilt because 3rd gear slipped due to the clutch going out on me and it needs a new shifter rod on the inside.
it sat outside for a while and then the rest of the time in a garage for the last two years. its a bit dirty but its not in bad condition. I
've invested alot more than im selling it for but i cant help it. i need the money bad. i was trying to sell it for 1800 but i don't have the time to wait.
Do you happen to know Dale Carrington? He helped me build this car."
