'79 Exhaust Manifold

Well, my Midget fuel injection project has come to halt due to a busted exhaust manifold. A friend said he had one he could give me, but he is unable to locate in his mountain of LBC parts. Does anyone know where I can pick-up a stock used manifold for cheap?

The manifold on eBay is not an exact match for my car, though I am sure it will work. However, I will not be able to use the heat shield from my car.

What are the effects of running the car without a heat shield? Does anyone have any ideas how I can creatively engineer a heat sheild?

I've used Team Triumph in Youngstown, Ohio. They have Spitfire 1500 parts, but they also had some rubber bumpered Midgets in their collection. The Spitfire manifold might be the same one. https://www.teamtriumph.com

I am still waiting to here back from Team Triumph. Meanwhile, the weather here in Austin, Texas is as beautiful as it is going to get. I can not endure not driving my car any longer. I went ahead and bought a Pacesetter Header off of eBay. I am sure I will come across a stock manifold eventually.
