i need engine pic of 78 single carb engine to see where air hoses go and more.thanks /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF
 
There is a good diagram in the Moss Catalog...I think it is also on their website.

I have a '78 ... but it is not stock anymore.
 
Yep, that emissions control pic in the Moss catalog is better than any photo.

Rick - In addition to the obvious (air pump, air injection manifold, gulp valve) there are a few things missing from your photo...& some things routed incorrectly....i.e., vacuum advance valve & its lines are not there along with a couple other electrical & vacuum lines.
 
From the distributor to the vacuum advance valve mounted on the front corner of the pedal box cover & then to a vacuum port on the intake manifold.

Oh, its a tiny plastic line which has normal rubber ends - formed ends at that.
