Anyone have pics of how the rear sway bars attach to the 77 and up MGBs? I can't remember if anyone ever posted pics on how the bar mounts to the chassis and the rear axel. I'd like to see some pics on how those rear bars are attached, because I'm trying to decide if I wanna go through the trouble of retro fitting one of those bars to my '76, or if I should go with an 'after market' bar.

Thanks.

Aftermarket...the brackets for the stock bar are welded way up under the car near where the battery shelf ends...real pain to get in there - especially after the car is finished!

well darn... just missed out on one (after market rear bar) on ebay...

you wouldn't happen to have any after market bars collecting dust would ya Tony? If'n ya have a matched set (upradted front bar + rear bar) I might be interested.

No, don't have aftermarket ones...I cut the brackets for a stock one from under an old shell for a guy in Atlanta who's building a V8 car....broke about a half dozen sawsaw blades!

whoa.... hard core... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif
