TR6 '76 TR 6 stromberg bypass valve?

Just got the parts from Moss, gather the gasket wbronze valve is sandwiched between the two other similar gaskets. BUT, the kit also came with a very small flat '"o" ring, where does this go? There are also two smaller, gaskets for where the bypass valve mates to the side of the carb, these two gaskets are different, which is the correct one for a late '76 TR6? Also, what should the bypass valve be "set/started at?"

The gasket you use depends upon whether or not you have the channel cut between the 2 larger holes. If you have the channel, use the gasket with the open space between the 2 holes (inlet & outlet).
I've found no need for the O-ring in the carbs I've fooled with. If there was none in the disassebbly then you won't either.
There are 22 or 23 threads on the adjustment screw. I find that 8 counter clockwise turns from fully clockwise is adequate to have the valve open when it is supposed to and enough to keep it closed when it's not called upon to open. But you can go midway to 11 CCW, if need be, to keep it closed at idle. Any more and it might not open on deceleration downshifts.
