75th Anniversary of the Parking Meter

On July 16, 1935, Oklahoma City installed the very first parking meters. Sort of interesting.
 
And people think Vegas is the home of the slot machine :laugh:
 
Charles Fey of <span style="font-weight: bold">San Francisco</span> developed the first one-armed-bandit in the late 1800's. :thirsty:

Just as most large cities are now phasing out proper <span style="font-style: italic">parking meters</span> in favour of pay stations...
 
As a native, I offer my apology for those parking meters although I was not here in 1935 and would not have approved any way.
