Being a Stag owner, and by no means an expert, it is interesting to see some of the differences between this car and my US specification car. Different fron park/signal lenses, different front side marker lights, no rear side marker lights, Triumph logo on the front bumper.
Sure looks too high in the rear to me. It should sit level. With regard to the funky rear end/top down view, I once thought so too. The first time I ever saw a Stag, it was parked arount the corner from my house in a friend's driveway. I thought it was a mighty funny looking thing. Several years I traded my '68 MGB for it. Now when I see it in the garage, I just think to myself what a master of desigh Giovanni Michelotti was.I think it really looks best with the factory hard top on. It is more inspirational to me than any Karmann designed car will ever be. I guess that's why I really like my Herald too. The ride an the highway in the Stag is certainly more luxurious than any 2 seater I have ever had too. All that said, I still love my little two seaters too.
