'75 to '73 interchange

What exactly will I have to change on the '75 motor to put it into my '73? I'll swap over the Weber and manifold from my motor so the carb isn't an issue but what else will I run into that's different? Any issues with using the '75 tranny as well?
 
Front plate will have to be changed to fit the earlier motor mounts. Speedometer will also have to be changed as the 75 is a 1000 turn and the 73 is a 1280.
 
I plan on using the motor and tranny and had actually hoped that I could use the speedometer, my odometer is currently nonfunctional. Are there any issues with cylinder head interchange? My '73 has a new head on it and I'm planning on swapping it over later this winter. The parts car only has 59k on it and probably doesn't need a new head, but if I've got one I might as well use it.
 
There shouldn't be any issues with swapping the head. When your changing stuff over it also wouldn't be a bad idea to change out the rod bearings.
 
Just ba aware rockers may be different, the difference is the rear oil pickup. The earlier ones are straight, the later are offset, so if you change rockers, be aware of that.

Route 3 in Duxbury on a Friday Night in July many years ago. On the way to The Cape.

Due to my ignorance, I had put an offset-oiled rocker on a staight oil port head. No lubrication, #1 exhaust rocker bushing finally failed, slipping off the valve. Exhaust had no where to go until it forced a hole in the end of the intake manifold.

Cop that stopped offered me his service revolver to put it out of it's misery.

I think he was joking.

Was buying my parts directly from the UK at the time, the good old days when it was $1.15 to the pound. Called to order a rebuilt rocker assembly. Guy on the other end asked if the oil feed was straight or offset. I think he saw my 1,000 yard start 3,00 miles away in ol Blighty.
