'75 Dash Removal

I've been stripping down the car and at the moment I'm stuck at the dash. It looks like I need to take the steering wheel assembly out to get to a couple of bolts, but what about behind the two heater vents in the middle? It looks like there is 1 or 2 bolts there, but how the heck to I get to em?

Am I headed in the right direction or is there an easier way to pull it off?

Gracias!

Derrick

Seats out 1st so you can lay down...steering column out as well as tach & speedo....& glove box....then you'll need to remove the center air vents...with steerring column, tach & vents out of way, you can get to all them with a 1/4" soccket & extension...the ones behind the glove box you can also reach, but from the top through the glove box door.

Patience, patience, patience (& some OSH!)

If you'r going to use the same harness, make sure you tag ALL the wires. Don't trust your memory. Now ask how I know that? PJ /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

I've got all the interior out except for the dash, so this weekend I'll get the steering column and gauges out and see how it goes. (I'm hoping well!)
