TR6 74 TR6 - new trans mount

Afternoon folks! Couple of questions please
In the process of installing a rebuilt trans with OD. (Have not rec it yet). The original trans was a 4 speed.
Does it bolt to the rear mount the same? (I have removed the brackets and replaced the rubber mounts.)
It comes with a new escutcheon. Best way to run the wire to the switch? Really a tight fit with the existing harness. Can the wire be run in another channel installed alongside the channel beneath the steering column?
Any other guidance on the install?
Thx,
Will

The OD is a J type? then it will need the later style tranny mounts. The wire should run with the turnsig wires
but it will be tight. The relay goes with her sisters on the DS inner fender.
Mad dog

Thx Mad Dog. Just finished the rear hubs and axles.
Re: rubber gaiters on split axle shaft - replace with wire ties or use zip loc straps?
Re: greasing - have cleaned up connector splines. Have Lucas red and tacky synthetic grease. Use this, go to a moly no seize, or other?
Sure am ready to get back on the road.
