TR6 74 TR6 near my house for sale

There is a shop near where I live that has a orange(?) 74 TR6 they were repairing for a customer. This shop specializes in red cars with black horses on them. A Chevy truly IS a foreign car at this shop! LoL Long story short - economy left the owner unable to pay for the repairs so he signed the car over to the shop. The repairs were comprehensive and very thorough - radiator, bushings, basically anything mechanical that was needed. The owner of the shop wants to recover as much of the parts and labor costs as possible. I am going to see it on Saturday...will take pictures then.

I know pretty much nothing about TR6s other than what I've read/learned here. Beyond the ordinary Brit car concerns, are there any things specific to TR6s I need to know about? I'll know more on Saturday, any info I can get beforehand is appreciated.

Hey, you have to take the deals where you find them. And if not me, there's probably someone else here who wants this TR.

Rust areas: fenders-around headlights, rockers, floors, h deck near fenders(behind driver's compartment}, rear fender tops and rear corner near trunk. Frame, check mainly where the trailing arms mount. That whole section can be suspect.
A lot of rear wheel negative camber means weak springs.
If you can take it for a test drive, move the car in reverse. When you drive away in 1st and hear a clunk, it may have a cracked differential mount which requires welding the frame.
Seat diaphragms dry rot...you'll know when you sit. Seatbelts seize up.
