TR6 74 TR6 Front Turn Signal Alternative

I am finding it difficult and/or expensive to find complete front turn signals for a 74 TR6. Is there an alternative that will work as a replacement? I would like to stay with original but they are hard to find.

Get some of those big 4 or 5" round amber units from a truck supply company. Drill a big hole in the top of your wing, bolt it in and wire it up.

But gefore you do that, what's wrong with the ones you have?
Sometimes a new socket cn be fitted......

I just bought the car which had been partly restored when the owner died, 10 years ago. A lot of parts were lost including the front turn signals. In searching for replacements I could not find complete units and incomplete used are $160+ each.

doubt there are any that will fit the holes and look decent, keep looking on ebay, maybe someone on here has a spare set they will sell you

Oh... maybe that's the one for the '74 1/2.
I would check Rimmer Bros anyway to see if they have what you want... many times I've found that they have parts that others may not have.
