TR6 '74 TR6 - Broken Top bow

Happy Memorial Day weekend folks!

Just in time for mine, part of the top bow hardware broke last night as I was putting the top up. Below is where it broke. I hadn't really looked at the top hardware before, and was wondering if that weld is factory, or whether my car has had some prior work done to it. The other welds on the bow look similar. I'm hoping that I can get this part out and simply weld it back together. Before I take it apart, sadly not this weekend, anybody have any recommendations on parts I might need to replace when removing the entire assembly from the car? I'd rather order any of those parts early than have to wait for them later.

Tom,
pretty common break. The rivet is/was rusted up, not wanting to let the bar move. Best way to fix is remove top and frame. Bend and shape back to original configuration, look at the other side. Then weld it back together. Lubricate the rivets on both sides amd make sure it moves easy before install frame back.
