Spitfire 74 Spit turn signal

Hello all, i seem to have a small issue with my turn signals on my 74 spitfire. Can anyone help me locate the relay? I heard it click only a couple of times very quickly but i cant seem to find it. I've changed out the hazard relay and that solved my problem with that so i'm hoping this will do the same. ANYONE?

Have you tried looking behind the centre fascia panel? I thought the flasher relay was mounted on a clip behind the dash. If you follow the Light Green/Brown Tracer wire off the turn signal switch it should go directly to the relay.

The flasher for the turn signals should be held to the back side of the dash by a spring-steel bracket just below the tachometer.

FWIW, I replaced the Lucas flasher in our '72 Spit with a generic "EL12" flasher from the parts store. That's an electronic flasher that doesn't experience problems is you put the wrong wattage bulbs in the lamp assemblies. However, it won't slow down when the bulbs burn out either.

Thanks guys for the info. It is located directly under the tach. on the inside of the dash panel. I hope this will solve my problem. Thanks again, "spit newbie"
