Hello Everyone!

I have found quite a lot of good information on this forum. Excellent resource for anyone starting out. I am putting new life into this ‘74 and it’s the first car restoration I’ve ever done. Just wanted to say thanks for all the helpful information. Here are some pics of my project. Let me know what you think.

Very impressive for a first-timer - well done!

Lovely cars(Spitfires) but why in the name of heaven did Triumph not build the "Hurricane "
the 6 cylinder version of this sweet lady?? More bombers were shot down by Hurricanes, and
the battle for the skies was lost without them. Woulda, coulda, shoulda. They would have sold
like crazy.

I have not seen a Spit get a 1600 Miata drive line yet. If somebody wants to do one I will
donate my modified dizzy ( Lucas/Mazda hybrid). You can see it on the Morgan motor here.
The intake is an easy fab if you are a good welder. This setup when in the racecar made 124HP
on the chassis dyno with the 1.75 SU's
