I feel your pain! :-(

eBay is full of wacko-buyers right now. Avoid!!!! My 62 has sold twice now in the past month on sleazeBay - neither 'winning bidder' bothered to follow through. I've sold a Triumph and a Midget on the eBay in the past, and didn't have any prob. Not sure what's going on right now, and maybe it's just my bad luck...but watch out.

Best of luck!

Bill

sorry to hear your pain Zimmy. Like I said I got lucky me thinks. Sold my 70 on ebay for 4250, and received all money within 5 days. The guy is from out of town, with a brother in law here in my town. Despite my offer to show the brother in law the car he said no. They will be picking the car up next weekend. it will be his first first hand look at the car. My plates are off the car , no turning back now if he don't like it..but I am sure he will.

Keep the faith Zimmy put it on ebay, with a simple ad. From a regular guy tryin to sell his car. maybe a regular guy will buy. worked for me, it WILL work for you too!

I have had a rash of deadbeat bidders of late. A couple of them were for items less than $20????? I too had a guy buy a car and then string me along for over a month and he acted like a total idiot I might add. At least I got $100 out of him for my troubles.
Do yourself a favor and make sure you put in a non refundable deposit and clearly state the amount of time you want the car to be picked up. But be prepared it's getting more like Craigslist every day.
Good luck
Mike
