MGB '74 MGB GT - Is it Worth it?

I saw this on the local craigslist.At first I thought
"That's a lot of money for a GT".But if it's been totally
restored,it might not be such a bad deal,if you had a
lot of money to spend.

it would have to be immaculate. particularly for a rubber bumper car - I don't think GT prices are caught up to roadsters yet
 
Sellers seem to be pretty high in their asking prices around here.
After looking again at the picture (yes - only ONE picture),I noticed that
the headlight rings are missing.I wonder what else is wrong/missing from it?
 
I suppose it's always what the market will bear. Asking's free after all...

That said, that's a bunch for a GT of any sort, let alone a rubber bumper car. In general MGB prices have been pretty flat over the last 5 years. Hagerty lists concours price for a '74 gt at $19,200. This one probably would be considered their "good", which is $5000. Maybe a Good+

Seems dream money for me, but for someone this might be the perfect fit. The Good Lord knows that I've paid over what others would for a few cars (2 of which I still have).
