73 Midget Valve Clearance & Brake Fluid

Hey all,
I'm getting ready to help a buddy of mine do some basic work on his '73 Midget to get it running again.

First off, what is the valve clearance supposed to be on these? Is it set hot, or cold like my TR6? What's the firing order?

What type of brake fluid should I use? I use Castrol mineral based in my TR. It's getting harder and harder to find though, and I've heard that DOT3 can ruin the seals in old brake/clutch systems.

What does the spark plug gap need to be set at?

Thanks.

ehhh, it's been a while, but I thought stock valve clearance was set hot.

Either or, different settings for each.

Whoops, didn't realize there was a Spridget forum. My apologies. Thanks for the info in any case.
