My search for a TR6 came down to 2 cars. I chose a BRG car from Texas. The other car is a Jasmine car from Southern California. The owner still has that California car, and he asked me to spread the word about the car. It's very original. Always been a dry climate car. It has OverDrive.

A buddy of mine has his yellow 1974 TR6 for sale here in Albuquerque. It is in pretty good condition. He had it for $6,500 sitting on the street. Frustrated, he has it listed in autotrader right now for ALOT more. It's a shame, there seems to be a very small market for them locally. I'm surprised about that. I mentioned when the local university starts up in a couple weeks, it'll disappear.
I think timing and location is everything!

Actually I'm surprised this guy has not sold this car already. I looked at a lot of cars, and this is definetly one of the best cars for the money I've run across. The only reason I passed on it was because the Texas car I bought had a fresh rebuilt Motor, and Transmission, plus a lot of other new parts and upgrades. Plus Texas is a lot closer to me than California, so picking up the car is a bit easier.
The owner has told me there is a very limited market out there for these cars. I betcha if that car was in my area it would have a $12,000 price tag on it. Ofcourse getting the price is another story.
