According to Anders Clausager's book, the blue jack is a correct factory item, but was not in cars prior to May 1973. The black Metallifacture jack is from later models still. The period-correct jack for your car would have been made by King Dick and painted red.
Keep in mind that the blue jacks were better and stronger than the red ones. Maybe keep the blue or black one in the car, and get a red one for car shows?
