'72 Mercury Capri

Who is designing these new cars with the ugly tailights (Prius) and gaping grilles (Lexus, former Lincoln). Have they no shame?

Nope. And got behind a new Jeep something....not the "X" taillights.....swore the left light was out (right hand curve), then whoops, both work, then left hand curve and the RH taillight was out.

Lights are so beam focused they look "out" unless you are right behind them.

Did like the tail fins of Fury, Caddy, Desoto, but they had there place as iconic. Would love to get the Daimler Dart, but $ stands in the way.

I'm kinda partial to the understated shoebox design.
Like my 1950 Ford, and my MK2 Jag. Understated.
No fins. No bling.

I know what you mean TOC, got 2 MK1s, a boxy LR4 and two newer MINIs, one is a 4 dr.

Of course, the Jag and the Ford have extremely effective errant pedestrian gutting devices attached to their respective bonnets.

I always liked the look of the Mk2 Jag.
