Looking for new used Hood for 71 MGB, came across a fiberglass one on ebay does anyone know how well these things fit. Would much rather find a good used steel one, the price of a new one from Moss + shipping is crazy.
I was told they don't fit that great either, If anyone has any suggestions they'd be appreciated Thanks.

Just my opinion but, find a used original and it'll more than likely fit properly without any extra work. If possible, look at it before you buy it and make sure it hasn't been bent at the hood prop hinge. Most all years are the same, with, I believe, the exception of the C class, as the top is shaped a little different. PJ

FWIW, I put a Moss hood on an 80 B that I redid last winter and wish I had repaired the original one. The metal is much thinner, dents very easily, and didn't fit for S*it. I got mine thru Little British Car Co. as they are only a few hours away but they get them all thru Moss anyway. I still have the original one I'd sell but again shipping would be rediculous.
