Hello,
I am finally putting the interior in my car and a couple of things are hanging me up.
1) Should there be a sheet metal or maybe fiber board cover over the hand brake cable portion of the drive shaft tunnel; behind the brake lever? There are a couple of small holes in the tunnel that look like they would hold a cover in place and for some reason I have a mental image of something going there.
2) The rubber hand brake boot that I bought 6 years ago (the 1st part that I bought for the car) pulls out of the carpet when the brake lever is pulled up. Is this normal? I would glue it down but it comes out so far that I don't think it would hold. Does my hand brake need to be tightened? Is there more than one style of boot?
Thanks in Advance
I am sure I will have more questions
But I am finally getting closer
Dennis
