70 Midget in Leno's Garage!

I do not recognize the car. They previously had it listed as a 1965. Of all the spridgets out there, I wonder why they chose that one? Maybe it was given to them?
 
Really not surprising that Leno has a Midget, or any other vehicle with wheels on it. He appears to be a true car nut, a real enthusiast.

I love reading his column in "Octane" magazine. You can tell how much he loves playing with antique cars.

Leno: he's just like us, only a slightly larger salary than most . . . :lol:
 
I hope he does a video on it as well. I've noticed it in the background (along with his TR3A) in a couple videos in the past.

I was please to see that it still has an A-series motor in it. With that hood scoop I was figuring it had a transplant.
 
Didn't one of "us" have a red Midget with a scoop like that?
 
It appears that leno has no clue what he has because the MKII was made up until late 66 or so and then then the MKIII came along. A 1970 MKII is rare indeed :wink: Spridgets 101, if it has a fold down top its a MKIII (66 or so till the end {including spitfidgets}), if it has the take off kind then its a MKII or older. That is a hard one to miss if you own the car.
