6JX15 original steel wheels? Do they exist?

I have 6JX15 original steel wheels on my 74 1/2 TR6. I Bent one (darn it!) Nobody believes me when I say I have 6" rims. Does anyone else out there have them and or does anyone have any to sell? Does anyone even know of any documentation of their use on TR6s? If they were not used on TR6s then what car could they have come off of? They look just like tr wheels, the only give away is that original deep wheel trim rings do not extend to the wheel disk by at least a half inch.

I understand there were 5 1/2 and 6" widths. If you are anxious and don't have time to wait it out, there is a 51/2 on eBay now with a buy it now price of $25. It looks ROUGH and even at the start of $20, it is NO bargain. 4537631825
But, The 5 1/2 could be a spare until you get a good 6"wheel.

It would be a verry good time to think about minilites! 6"wheel.

Konig has a new wheel similar to the panasport 7 X 15 called the Rewind that is supposed to sell for $125.00, it looks great. Check it out at the Konig web site.

All of my sources (parts catalogs, collectors guides,etc..) only list a 5.5" rim for the TR6. Although it seems I read somewhere that the 6"ers were available across the pond. Kinda like the Petrol injection. Good luck in your search, sorry to not be of more help.
