Hello,
I need a heater control cable for a 69 TR6. Moss and VB do not carry these. Does anyone know where I can get one? I don't care if it is used as long as it works.
Thanks, Kevin

Thanks Don,
I feel like an idiot. I didn't feel like they had a whole lot of parts - I had only been looking at their sale catalog - I had no idea they were so big. I placed an order. They put Moss and VB to shame.
Thanks again, Kevin

TRF probably has more parts for the TR6 than any other company in the USA. Unfortunately, their backorder rate has been high for the past many years. Their quality ranks among the best on many of the parts.

I just have to echo this. I have been dealing with TRF ever since I purchased my first car (74 Spit) when I was 15 years old in 1982. They have been an valuable resource to me for parts, tech. advice, and support for nearly 25 years. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/iagree.gif

I got one from TRF and it did take a while to get it, the little spring button that secures the knob on was not drilled set right and the knob will not lock in place,,,,but TRF is good about taking things back. I think I will but a ball valve on the heater hose so the heat will be on all the time in the winter and always off in the summer. food for thought

Hondo,

I had the same problem with my knob. All I had to do was drill the hole ever so slightly to open it up some. It then fit on the post perfectly.
