Brake problems. My brake master cylinder suddenly almost emptied itself out overnight. Is it likely that any of the hydraulic fluid emptied itself past the booster seal and into the booster? If so, what do I need to do? I noticed that there is a notch which seems to let fluid run outside the booster.

It could mean you need to have your booster rebuilt.
The diaphrams stretch out over time.

I just went thru the same thing.

Mine was leaking fluid slower then yours about a 1/4" per day and discovered it was a connection along the frame where 2 lines were coupled together. Check all your connections first.
