'69 Sprite Proper Seats

Can anyone post photos of the proper seats for the 69 Sprite and
would there be any problems with a roll bar being in the way?

This is my new project car so I'm new to the Sprite. My last project
was a 73 Midget so I know that there is not to much differance between the two but there are a few, I'm sure the I'll need some help during the refurbishing.

I own a '69 Sprite, and just recovered and put in new foams for the seats. I had to farm out the headrests to an upholstery shop as the "1969 Only" seat kit from VB does not include headrests. Admittedly, it's not the best job. I learned enough from doing this to know that next time, I'm going to farm the entire job out.

Feel free to drop me a line if you have any other questions about the '69 Sprite. I got mine a little less than two years ago, and I've pretty much learned the car inside out by necessity, lol.

Thank you very much and I'm sure that you'll be hearing from me! These seat are not retractable correct? I'm picking the Sprite tomorrow and roll bar is included with it but it looks like there might be a fitting problem. What do you think?

By retractable do you mean reclining? They do not recline. They do rather inexplicably tilt forward, as if they were meant for a car with a backseat. Whether they clear the roll bar or not would depend on where the roll bar is mounted. I did install 3-point shoulder belts and the belts have to go over the top of the seat, as there is no room around the side. There is another mount for a roll bar in the compartment as well. I also have the seats back in the maximum rear position. I'm 5'6", but have a 32 inch inseam. If you have shorter legs, you may be able to get away with moving the seats up a bit if you find you have clearance issues with the roll bar.
