'67 XKE rear diff?

I changed the rear diff oil today and had both rear wheels up on jack stands. While it was up I rotated the rear wheels to check for brake drag, and while there was none, there was some resistance to rotate the wheels front and backward. My understanding is this is a limited slip diff and therefore is correct?
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Ed
