67 XKE Coupe value?

I have an opportunity to purchase a '67 XKE Coupe from the estate of the current owner. The car is a true survivor with one repaint in the correct original color. The interior is all original (original radio, upholstery, etc.) and in remarkable shape. Just the normal patina you would expect on a very well cared for 58-year-old sportscar. The car has been sitting idle for 6 years therefore is considered non-running. The car appears to have been meticulously maintained and driven regularly up until the former owner's unexpected passing 6 years ago.

I have owned numerous Triumphs and Austin Healey's over the years, but this would be my first XKE. What specific areas on the XKE were prone to rust so that I can properly inspect? What other concern areas unique to a Series 1 XKE should I pay close attention to? Finally, what would be considered fair market value for a single repaint '67 Coupe Survivor which has been sitting idle for 6 years? The car wasn't prepared for this 6-year hibernation as was mentioned, the owner's passing was unexpected. Thank you, I appreciate any insight here as I am a newbie to the XKE world.

Check the rocker panels, floors and under the petrol tank for rust.
Beware that all the hydraulic systems will need a complete rebuild.
Value…..what colour is the car and cabin?

I am seeing the car in person next Monday and will confirm. It appears to be Opalescent Silver Grey and the leather interior appears to be black. From what I read, black was not an option for an OSG car in '67. Could it perhaps be dark blue? Hopefully they have a heritage certificate, and I can therefore confirm this is correct.

Nice colour….hopefully the cabin is blue or red.
Would order a certificate now just to have it.
Would check the numbers to be sure that nothing has been messed with.

assuming it is numbers matching, any idea as to what this may realistically be worth in today's market? BAT and other sources seem to be al over the board.

Would think you should be safe at 25-50k range.
Look up the cost of parts, tyres, etc for it to get an idea of how much it will take for the basics.
I don’t rely on BAT for anything….many dreamers on that.
