Just joined this forum after purchasing a 1967 Triumph Spitfire MK2 (same year they went to the MK3 with more emissions controls added for the American market). Having the car transported from Atlanta to Augusta, Georgia later this week. Then it will be an occasionally driven car, maybe once or twice a week for short distances, and my first convertible. The previous owner kept it in a garage for over 20 years and has done plenty of restoration work so it's in great shape. The only improvement I have planned so far is a new driver's side rearview mirror since the one of there no will not stay in place when you try to adjust it. I don't know if there is a trick to solve this problem or should I order a new mirror. I'm just getting started on exploring some different sources for Triumph parts and would welcome and recommendations on this small fix.
